Solar Philippines exports exceeds Ten Billion by 2018 and will result in 1,000 direct Jobs for Filipinos and more to come for direct and indirect jobs in 2018. Solar Philippines President Leandro Leviste is eminent that the company will begin exporting solar panels worth over Ten Billion pesos starting 2018. With the help of increasing demands of Solar Energy and because of shutting down of major Solar Company in the Philippines last year from US Solar Company now the Solar Philippines solely owns a factory and selling its production to Chinese companies to be exported to US and Europe.Solar Philippines mentions “We do not measure success in terms of profits or revenues, but for the jobs we create.

While margins are no more than a few percentage points, this will result in 1000 direct jobs for Filipinos this year, and many more direct and indirect jobs by next year, in line with President Duterte’s drive for manufacturing to improve the lives of our countrymen”. Solar Philippines Company aims to expand its first Philippine owned Solar Factory which will ramp up to 800 Mega Watts to over 2000 Mega Watts of annual capacity and to become the World’s Largest Non Chinese Solar Panel Manufacturer. Solar Philippines aims to construct 1000 Megawatts of Solar Projects by 2018 majority of its Projects will be in Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, India, the US and Sub-Saharan Africa. Solar Philippines has its First International projects and First Solar Battery Projects and will be completed by end of 2017 the company expresses confidence that Solar can supply reliable power at low cost than coal power.
