Mindanao Railways System Project Both in Execution and
Implementation will Generate 100,000 Jobs for Filipinos.
According to Mindanao Development Authority during the
execution stage of the project Twenty percent of the workforce will be from the
Chinese counter part who funded the project and 80 percent will for the
Filipinos, in addition the estimated jobs do not include the operation and will
increase the needs.
The connection of each cities, towns and small towns are
very helpful where some areas that cannot travel because of transport
difficulties could start their trade, employment, education and participation
to the region and to the country. The wide expansion of tourism from Davao City
to other areas could also be a big positive change to the whole region. Despite of no exact date of the start of the Project
Mindanao Development Authority is positively confident after the agreement
between two countries China and the Philippines, construction will be starting
soon since the feasibility study already conducted. Mindanao Authority believes
that the railway system will improve the quality of life, strengthen Mindanao’s
position not only with foreign relation but also with other parts of the
country.
