Filipino's working abroad are currently exempted from paying terminal fee's but starting October 1, 2014 all airlines flying to and from Manila or Ninoy Aquino International Airport agreed to consolidate the fee into air tickets.
The Airport authorities have facilitated a refund procedure for OFW's and other exempted passengers such as national athletes traveling from international competition.
Refund counters are located right after immigration counters (on departure date) or at MIAA Administration Building, NAIA complex, Pasay City.
Procedure for Passengers Claiming on Day of Departure:
1. On Departure date exempted travellers will have to submit the following:
- Copy of Passenger Ticket
- Itinerary receipt / official receipt
- Invoice showing "Payment for Terminal Fee" with code "LI International"
3. Present Boarding pass for Inspection
Procedure for Passengers or Authorized Representative Claiming at MIAA Administration Building after Departure Date.
1. Present the following:
- IPSC Refund Declaration as shown
- Copy of Passenger's ticket, itinerary receipt, official receipt or invoice showing "Payment for Terminal Fee" with code "LI International"
- Show original boarding pass and submit a copy. Without original boarding pass, any of the following can be submitted:
- Certificate from the Air Carrier for the departure date of the passenger/s.
If Claiming Refund through a Representative:
1. On Departure date, exempted travellers will have to submit the following:
- Copy of passenger ticket
- Itinerary receipt / official receipt
- Invoice showing "Paymenr for Terminal Fee" with code "LI International"
3. Boarding Pass
4. Valid government ID with photograph of the authorized representative.
