It's time to put a stop to brain drain. It's a good news
for Filipino's working in the Middle East especially for Engineers and Professionals who faces difficulties in the present crisis and who has issues in their salary and sponsorship. If there is a
chance to go back to Philippines and get a job with a fair salary then this is
the time to decide.
Secretary Ernesto Pernia of the National Economic and
Development Authority said the government wants more engineers back home and
rendering their services for the local infrastructure boom under the Duterte
administration.
Pernia said the Labor department will be staging a job
fair in the Middle East to the Filipino Engineers and experts to return to the
Philippines, with the promise of a competitive pay.
"We will make sure that the salary differential
between what they are getting in overseas workplaces and here will be minimal
or maybe even more than whatever they are getting," Pernia said in a
speech on Thursday, Feb. 22.
We hope this will encourage Filipino Professionals to return home.
